This March 8, 2023 we celebrate the 113th anniversary of International Working Women\u2019s Day. The Central Committee of Uni\u00f3n del Barrio salutes all the militant comrades on this International Working Women\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n
In 1910, at an international meeting of socialist women in Copenhagen, this celebration was established for March 8 of each year, not to celebrate women as a gender, but to celebrate working<\/i> women; to celebrate the women who are on the front lines in defense of the rights of their peoples. To celebrate and greet the women who do domestic work, who are students, the women who work in the fields, the factory workers, the construction workers, and professional women; in short, to celebrate all the women who are engaged in working-class struggle. That is why on this occasion, Uni\u00f3n del Barrio once again recognizes the fundamental role that women play in the struggles for the liberation of our people, and all oppressed people around the world. Uni\u00f3n del Barrio raises the slogan: \u00a1Sin La Mujer, No Hay Revoluci\u00f3n!<\/i><\/p>\n
We recognize the enormous efforts of all women who fight to end savage capitalism and colonialist oppression, and women who fight for the interests of the working class and to build a liberation movement. These are women who, day after day, make great sacrifices to unite our people in an organized way, the only way to end the oppression of women here and in the rest of the planet.<\/p>\n
This March 8, 2023, we salute and recognize the women who are in the daily struggle in the streets, factories, in homes, organizing, raising political consciousness, paving the way and setting examples for future generations of women who will be the leaders in our anti-imperialist liberation struggles, and for a united and socialist Nuestra Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n

Este 8 de marzo de 2023 celebramos el 113avo aniversario del D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer Trabajadora. El Comit\u00e9 Central de Uni\u00f3n de Barrio saluda a todas las compa\u00f1eras militantes en este D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer Trabajadora.<\/p>\n
En 1910 y en una reuni\u00f3n internacional de mujeres socialistas en Copenhague, se estableci\u00f3 el 8 de marzo de cada a\u00f1o esta celebraci\u00f3n, no para celebrar a la mujer en s\u00ed misma, sino que para celebrar a las mujeres trabajadoras; para celebrar a las mujeres que est\u00e1n en primera l\u00ednea en defensa de los derechos de su pueblo. Para celebrar y saludar a las mujeres que trabajan en casa, a las estudiantes, las mujeres que trabajan en el campo, las obreras de f\u00e1brica, de la construcci\u00f3n, las mujeres profesionales, en fin, para celebrar a todas las mujeres que est\u00e1n en la lucha. Es por esto que en esta ocasi\u00f3n, Uni\u00f3n del Barrio reconoce nuevamente el rol fundamental que juegan las mujeres en las luchas por la liberaci\u00f3n nacional de nuestra raza. Uni\u00f3n eleva la consigna \u00a1Sin las mujeres, no hay revoluci\u00f3n!<\/p>\n
Se tiene que reconocer los enormes esfuerzos de todas las mujeres que luchan por terminar con el capitalismo salvaje y la opresi\u00f3n colonialista, mujeres que luchan por los intereses de la clase trabajadora y para construir un movimiento de liberaci\u00f3n nacional. Mujeres que d\u00eda a d\u00eda entregan grandes sacrificios para poder unir en forma organizada a nuestro pueblo, \u00fanica manera de lograr el fin de la opresi\u00f3n de las mujeres aqu\u00ed y en el resto del planeta.<\/p>\n
Este 8 de marzo de 2023 saludamos y reconocemos a todas las mujeres que cotidianamente est\u00e1n en la lucha en las calles, f\u00e1bricas, en hogares, organizando, concientizando, abriendo camino y estableciendo ejemplos para las futuras generaciones de mujeres que ser\u00e1n las lideresas en la lucha antiimperialista, la liberaci\u00f3n nacional y por una Nuestra Am\u00e9rica unida y socialista.<\/p>\n
