La noche del 26 de septiembre y la madrugada del 27 de 2014, una organizacio\u0301n criminal con el apoyo de fuerzas municipales, estatales y federales entre las que destaco\u0301 el eje\u0301rcito, secuestro\u0301 y desaparecio\u0301 a 43 estudiantes y asesino\u0301 a 6 personas ma\u0301s en Iguala, Guerrero, Me\u0301xico.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

El presidente en turno, Enrique Pen\u0303a Nieto, quiso cerrar el caso ra\u0301pidamente y para ello elaboro\u0301 una teori\u0301a conocida como \u201cverdad historia\u201d que en realidad estaba plagada de falsedades y fue desechada por peritos nacionales e internacionales. AMLO (el presidente Andre\u0301s Manuel Lo\u0301pez Obrador) prometio\u0301 resolver el caso cuando se reunio\u0301 con los familiares de los 43 mientras andaba todavi\u0301a en campan\u0303a y lo reafirmo\u0301 ya como presidente. Hoy, al final de su mandato, acusamos a AMLO de no honrar su promesa, de sabotear la investigacio\u0301n y de proteger a los coparti\u0301cipes en la desaparicio\u0301n de los 43, las fuerzas armadas.<\/p>\n

AMLO tuvo el tiempo, los recursos y la autoridad para completar la investigacio\u0301n y llevar a los responsables ante la justicia. Pero como AMLO hablo\u0301 convincentemente con madres y familiares de los 43, todo mundo esperaba que se supiera el final de los muchachos y que tambie\u0301n se castigara a los culpables. Desgraciadamente nada de esto sucedio\u0301 ya que desde el principio se vio que el presidente buscaba alargar la investigacio\u0301n y al mismo tiempo, proteger a las fuerzas militares. Eso no fue todo.<\/p>\n

El presidente saboteo\u0301 la investigacio\u0301n cuando le puso trabas al trabajo que desempen\u0303aba Omar Go\u0301mez Trejo, fiscal especial encargado de la investigacio\u0301n, al punto que fue forzado a renunciar a su trabajo. Esto sucedio\u0301 en septiembre de 2022. Por otro lado, el trabajo del Grupo Interdisciplinario de Expertos Independientes (GIEI) que tanto habi\u0301a hecho durante el gobierno anterior, dio por terminada su labor una vez que el eje\u0301rcito mexicano, con el apoyo de AMLO, se nego\u0301 a entregar documentos importantes. Esos documentos, adema\u0301s de ayudar a encontrar a los estudiantes, demuestran la participacio\u0301n de las fuerzas armadas en su desaparicio\u0301n.<\/p>\n

En su intento por proteger a las fuerzas armadas, AMLO acuso\u0301 a los representantes de los familiares de los 43, de obedecer a intereses ajenos y ser parte de una campan\u0303a internacional de desprestigio de las fuerzas armadas. AMLO olvida, muy a su conveniencia, que si algo caracteriza a las fuerzas armadas mexicanas es su cara\u0301cter represivo y antipatrio\u0301tico. La lista de la conducta represiva y asesina del ejercito es interminable, y so\u0301lo mencionaremos la matanza de Tlatlaya en el 2014, la de Tlatelolco en 1968 y los \u201cvuelos de la muerte\u201d, que entre 1974 y 1981consistio\u0301 en tirar al mar a ma\u0301s de 1 500 luchadoras y luchadores sociales desde un avio\u0301n de fabricacio\u0301n israeli\u0301, propiedad de la Fuerza Ae\u0301rea Mexicana.<\/p>\n

Las organizaciones y colectivos abajo firmantes somos conscientes de que todas las luchas en todos los rincones del mundo son la misma lucha. Por tal motivo, refrendamos nuestra solidaridad con Palestina y exigimos la salida inmediata y total de las fuerzas genocidas israelitas de los territorios ocupados, el boicot de todo tipo contra el Estado de Israel, el juicio internacional a sus lideres y solucio\u0301n definitiva a la ocupacio\u0301n sionista, incluyendo la preeminencia de la voz palestina.<\/p>\n

La \u201cverdad histo\u0301rica\u201d de Pen\u0303a Nieto no paso\u0301 la prueba de la historia. La proteccio\u0301n de las fuerzas armadas por AMLO y las acusaciones sin fundamento que van de la mano de las primeras se han convertido en otra \u201cverdad histo\u0301rica\u201d. A 10 an\u0303os del crimen de Estado, no hay verdad, no hay justicia. Claudia Sheinbaum: recuerda que tu eleccio\u0301n fue posible gracias a la participacio\u0301n del pueblo y necesitas tener un gobierno del pueblo. Tu turno.<\/p>\n

TEN YEARS OF STRUGGLE FOR <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

TRUTH AND JUSTICE<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On the night of September 26, and in the early morning of September 27, 2014, a criminal organization, with the support of municipal, state and federal law enforcement (most notably, the army) kidnapped and disappeared 43 students and murdered 6 more people in Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico.<\/p>\n

The president, Enrique Pen\u0303a Nieto, wanted to close the case quickly. To do so, he developed a theory known as \u201cthe historic truth\u201d that was actually riddled with falsehoods and was rejected by national and international experts. AMLO (President Andre\u0301s Manuel Lo\u0301pez Obrador) promised to resolve the case when he met with the relatives of the 43 while he was still campaigning, and he then reaffirmed his promise as president. Now, at the end of his mandate, we denounce AMLO for not honoring his promise, for sabotaging the investigation and for protecting the accomplices in the disappearance of the 43, the armed forces.<\/p>\n

AMLO had the time, resources and authority to complete the investigation and bring those responsible to justice. As AMLO spoke convincingly with mothers and relatives of the 43, everyone hoped that the fate of the boys would be known and that the guilty would also be punished. Unfortunately, none of this happened, since from the beginning, it was clear that the president was seeking to prolong the investigation and at the same time protect the military forces. That wasn’t all.<\/p>\n

The president sabotaged the investigation when he hindered the work of Omar Go\u0301mez Trejo, the special prosecutor in charge of the investigation, to the point that he was forced to resign from his job. This happened in September 2022. In addition, the work of the Interdisciplinary Group of Independent Experts (GIEI), which had done so much during the previous government, ended its work once the Mexican army, with the support of AMLO, refused to hand over important documents. These documents, in addition to helping to find the students, demonstrate the participation of the armed forces in their disappearance.<\/p>\n

In his attempt to protect the armed forces, AMLO accused the representatives of the families of the 43 of obeying foreign interests and being part of an international campaign to discredit the armed forces. AMLO forgets, very conveniently, that if anything characterizes the Mexican armed forces, it is their repressive and unpatriotic actions. The list of the army’s repressive and murderous conduct is endless. We will only mention the massacre of Tlatlaya in 2014, that of Tlatelolco in 1968 and the \u201cdeath flights\u201d between 1974 and 198, which consisted of throwing more than 1,500 social justice fighters into the ocean, from an Israeli-made plane owned by the Mexican Air Force.<\/p>\n

The undersigned organizations and groups are aware that all struggles in all corners of the world are the same struggle. For this reason, we reaffirm our solidarity with Palestine and demand the immediate and total departure of the Israeli genocidal forces from the occupied territories, the boycott of all kinds against the state of Israel, the international trial of its leaders and a definitive solution to the Zionist occupation, including recognition of Palestinian demands.<\/p>\n

Pen\u0303a Nieto’s \u201chistorical truth\u201d did not pass the test of history. AMLO’s protection of the armed forces and the baseless accusations that go hand in hand with the former have become another \u201chistorical truth.\u201d 10 years after the state crime, there is no truth, there is no justice. Claudia Sheinbaum: Remember that your election was possible thanks to the participation of the people and a government of the people is needed. Your turn.<\/p>\n
